Looking at this thread, should a Wall of Shame be established to list all the machines that crash due to missing 32-bit libraries?
If so, could it be populated automatically?
Could e-mails be sent automatically to the offenders so they could fix the problems, or could they be disconnected until they get their house in order?

I don't know if there is an automagical way to do this. In the past machines identified in the old thread were set to not being sent any tasks until the owners informed the moderators that they had resolved the problem with their machines. (The vast majority were missing libs but not all.) There is some discussion about this at the moment and whether sending emails to owners is GDPR compliant. I know that there are a few things being sorted out with some of the Linux task types at the moment to try and improve the return rate and hope that this is being looked at as part of that. But the wheels often grind exceedingly slow when there are other things deemed as priorities and often as moderators we don't know what those are.

If I remember correctly, when signing up for this group, I checked a box saying it was OK to send me e-mails from the project. If this is correct, it seems to me the project could send people who did this e-mails.

I don't remember ticking such a box but it doesn't mean I didin't. However I suspect that those who don't tick the box are more likely to be the ones who don't check and see that lots of tasks are failing. To me the easy solution is to just set the offending machines to not get any tasks and eventually when the owners notice they can find things out or leave the project.

https://www.cpdn.org/results.php?hostid=1493135 64 virtual cores with only 64GB RAM before video nicks a little bit. Crashing everything except some tasks that were aborted. May be worth checking in a few days in case user who is relatively new has cut down on cores in use.

But the number of misconfigured machines seems to be going down.
Either the e-mails to the users are having some effect, or they are just giving up.
