(Message 15531) Posted 29 Aug 2005 by old_user94299 Post: Hi, I am running the v4.19 AMD64 BOINC client (on Ubuntu v5.04) from the Seti Linux site, which works fine for SETI. However, with the SETI site being down, I thought I would run Climate Prediction so that my computer could be doing useful work all the time. However, after registering, and finally apparently connecting, I keep on getting deferred without getting any work (for 24 hours at a time). I get this error message from ther server \"Message from server: platform \'x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu\' not found\". Does this nean I will get no work while I run this version of the client? Brendan
