I am happy to see that the new sam50 models do not give the same errors after 3-4 minutes such as the sams25 usually do on my Win10 computer. Does anybody know which things have been changed within these models?

My backlog is also uploading. However, sometimes they are backing off, as if the server cannot handle all the upload requests. The waiting files are from batches 768 and 769; the files from 773 always went through.

I have new upload failures, this time for the global tasks (766-770). They started to refuse uploading at about 9 p.m. CET, again with the error message 'server is out of disk space'. Just to let you know...

I have an upload problem with my hadam3p_pnw model. BOINC says since a couple of hours that the file upload handler is missing:
04.05.2015 21:04:56 | climateprediction.net | Started upload of hadam3p_pnw_f9wo_2011_1_009818969_0_9.zip

According to the client_state.xml, the relevant server is at oregonstate.edu:

6) Questions and Answers : Windows : BOINC problem (HadCM3 crashed almost at the end) (Message 36440)

Thanks for your advice. The model is still running, but I did not allow network activity yet, since I am not yet sure what happens when I switch it on.

>>If the model is running then you must have a valid BOINC installation and are correctly attached to a project.
This is obviously true for my backup, since the model starts to process when I start the BOINC manager. The open question for me is which kind of validation from the server side (CPDN or BOINC) occurs when the client contacts the server. Especially whether it makes a difference if BOINC is \'correctly\' installed or just started manually (as I mentioned above, I removed BOINC from my system to get the corrupted folder deleted - BOINC does not appear as installed program in my windows software list). I hope you see where I aim at. And I did not dare a new installation of BOINC over the backup folder because I was frightened to wreck it again.

However, the model will be finished tomorrow. I will do another backup of the finished model, and sometime later I will try to upload the model.

Hello, I have currently a HadCM3-Model running, which is almost finished: Task
A few days ago (March 13) I did the Windows update (after exiting BOINC), and after restarting BOINC, the status of the model was suddenly \'Hochgeladen, Meldebereit\' (which, I think, corresponds to uploaded and ready for communication). The network activity was suspended at this time, so nothing has been uploaded, also according to the task details. As I wanted to have this model finished and not being reported as crashed that short before the end, I tried to put a 3 days-old backup in place of the BOINC-folder. But this did not work, it always sad that the boinc.dll is still in use when I tried to delete or move the original BOINC folder. A repair installation of BOINC was also not helpful, so I finally deinstalled BOINC via its deinstallation routine, deleted the corrupted BOINC folder (or what was left from it after the deinstallation) and put the backup folder in its place. I can start now boincmgr manually, and everything is running as usual. But I am not sure how to continue. Will the result upload normally, when is the best time to install BOINC again (after the upload?), do I have to attach then to the project again, and so on...
Thanks for advice. ;-)
