&gt; Do <a> href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=43256"&gt;host#43256</a>
&gt; and <a> href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=60125"&gt;host#60125</a>
&gt; have the same computer name? If you have changed your computer name recently
&gt; (yesterday) you will not be able to merge your hosts.
&gt;
&gt;

Yes, they have the same computer name, same description, same everything. BTW, appreciate the help, thx.

&gt; Just merge your two hosts together. You can do this in one of your Computer
&gt; Summary webpage
&gt; (http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=xxxx
&gt; where xxxx is one of the host ID of your computer).
&gt;
&gt;

Ok, great start, but the Merge page does not show me any other machines to select. I do get an empty page with the radio buttons "select all", "Unselect all" and "Merge Host", but that's all.

What next?!?!

8) Questions and Answers : Unix/Linux : how do I get it running? (Message 4616)

Post:
&gt; boinc (and the cpdn program running under boinc) should do all file extraction
&gt; and startup. on a new workunit you should see two screens full of "unzip"
&gt; information, if you don't it could be an incompatibility with your Linux
&gt; libraries (i.e. glibc?2.6 needed etc, check the minimum requirements page
&gt;
&gt;
Carl,

You are to quick on the draw.... just DL-ed 4.09 and it seems to be working find. One other question. It 'only' runs in a shell (dos box type). Is there not a 'windows' type version, or I doing something wrong.

Thanks,

Trent

Being new to Linux, (and having the same problem)...can you elaborate a bit more on the incompatible libraries and how to check/upgrade them?
