Inactive Accounts to be Removed

Posted 19 Feb 2018 by HAL9000 Post: It looks like they way this is being done has the effect of generating a new CPID for the users that are removed. So their historic contribution is no longer associated with the user on the stat sites. That is defiantly one way to say you don't care about the users that have contributed to your project over the years. |

Telling lies in cc_config.xml

Posted 16 Apr 2017 by HAL9000 Post: I have played with most of the cc_config.xml options and even helped some get added as features. There isn't really any benefit to running more tasks than you have processors. Other than avoiding the time amount of time it takes between one task stopping and a new one starting. It may gain you about 0.00005% in processing if the apps don't crash. |

BOINC builds with an odd point release version (x.7.y x.5.y, x,3,y...) have always been considered development/alpha builds.
