Yes, the problem lies in whether the preferences are default, or school, or home etc. Once the default has been changed, everything is OK.

I had not noticed, but I have the same problem: no work allowed when non-BOINC use above 75%. I changed it to 0, but nothing happened. However, I updated and it shows a delay of an hour; perhaps I have to wait until the project gets updated? I will check again in an hour.Under activity, I have of course use GPU always.

Great work guys. I have been able to download 5 new WUs. my machine Cores are full again. One small caveat. The server status page is still not visible. It is nice to know when more work is available for download.

Yes, I have been able to download one work unit on each of my two computers, but they have been stuck in "Transfer" for more than 12 hours now. "Retry" shows anywhere from 10 minutes to more than 2 hours. Should I go back into patience mode?

Credit total is updated on account page which appears up to date. It is just the Boinc manager that still gives trouble.

The error messages have now gone, though the worst-offending page (for me) was the task page which is still not showing any trickles. Some catching up to do server-side, no doubt.

My task page does not show any trickles either, although in Event Log I have seen "sending Trickle message" a few times. Just like to be sure I am not running all 3 tasks for nothing...

Could you try adding the BOINC directory to the trusted zone in Kaspersky?

What version of Kaspersky is it?

I\'m using KIS 6.0.1.411 (from memory - could have some of those numbers wrong) and haven\'t had a problem with it.

I am using the same version and BOINC has been in that zone from the beginning. I am afraid I have given up on CPDN and have detached. Now I am having the same problem with SETI. It has been running OK, but suddenly I cannot upload. Getting the HTTP message again. All other projects are fine, so I am sticking with those for the time being. Thanks for trying to help.

I had the same problem. It would keep download so many tasks. I set SETI to 2 processor insted of the default 16 lol.

It is a HT processor not a true Dual Core, but it works well to run 1 seti and 1 CPDN. The laptop I have running seti only since the work loads are so fast and not as large.

I get 1 workload for CPDN, but wish they had settigns to inforce 1 work load at a time so it won\'t try to retrieve more. Right now it is et not to retirve more since It will be liek 122 dyas till it\'s complete.

I am running two CPDN work units and one SETI and there is no problem: once an hour two out of three get shifted. But I do have this problem which sofar no one has solved: a hundred times a day I get the CPDN message: Scheduler request failed: HTTP internal server error. Is this going to resolve itself some day?

Possibly. The project servers haven\'t heard anything from your model since the 19th May. Any idea what changed on the 19th May? (new version of something, windows update, different firewall settings, ... ?)

* Are you connecting via a proxy server? (usually the answer is \'yes\' if you\'re on a work computer or a university computer, usually \'no\' if this is a home PC).

We can talk you through setting up debugging on http transfers, this will give extra information but I\'m not sure if there\'s much point.

No, I cannot think of anything special. I have done the upload handler test and I get a -1. I have 20 projects which all update regularly (there was a problem with SETI but that has corrected itself today. The real problem I think is more basic, because this is at least the fourth or fifth time I have restarted CPDN. Each time in the past, the project runs OK for three, four days, then \"freezes\" as it has done now. I use Karpesky, but have not changed any firewall settings. I use a home computer.
One more thing: I am running two work units at the same time (insurance, you know) and the one shows \"disturbed parameters\" the other nothing. Right now, each has been going for close to 50 hours. Would hate to detach again.

It is now May 25 and my statistics have not updated since May 19. I have the same problem with SETI - no update since May 22. Both contact the server many times a day. What should I do? Wait and hope it will rectify itself some day or just detach and try something else (I am thinking of opening a bottle of Rosé and sit on my terrace, contemplating this frustrating turn of events).

Tne minutes later: SETI has suddenly contacted the server and my statistics have been update. So there\'s hope for CPDN?

I have had this problem before and had detached as these messages just kept coming. Is the HTTP error something that may eventually be corrected, or am I wasting my computer time by continuing this project? I have done 35 hours and am past the yearend.

And for a pretty long time already, seeing you have not returned much over the past couple of months. Which BOINC version are you running?
Can you post part of your logged messages?

Are you behind a firewall or proxy? If so, which and what?

I am glad the others got their zippers unstuck, but I am still getting the HTTP internal server error.

I am running 5.8.15, at least for the last month or so. One reason I have not returned anything is that I have twice reset and/or detached. Last time was well over 50 hours disappeared. In addition to my climateprediction woes, I now get this - for the last several days. All other programs OK, so far. I am not sure, but I think I downloaded the latest BOINC version on March 23, the day that my computer ceased to communicate with climateprediction.
I have done a complete BOINC backup.

Thanks for the various pieces of advice. I keep getting \"project servers may be temporarily down\", but this has been for a long time now (I have the same problem when trying to upload Seti and Burp). Still, all other projects perform as they should. Last contact in CPDN still shown as March 23, although there have been numerous attempts at contact. When running, the figures in Tasks do keep changing, however. Will try to be patient a little longer but I welcome any other help you can give me.
