(Message 29634) Posted 20 Jul 2007 by old_user66004 Post: Hey, I\'ve read through the README files here and on just about every Boinc site I could find. I am installed outside of the progams file and I have enough Memory. I have to think it was all the restarting I was doing as I installed my old software on the new computer. Not all of it is working with Vista as well as it should (not a suprise, I was prepared for that.) It also seems that in Vista it is better to close Boinc manually before restarting, something about Boinc not having enough time to write to disk before it closes. I\'ll wait to try another work unit until I have everything setup the way I want it on the new computer. Andrew

(Message 29624) Posted 19 Jul 2007 by old_user66004 Post: Hello, I just got a new quad core machine and lost two results to exit code 22 at the same time. Was wondering if anyone knows what that is. I hadn\'t done my weekly backup of Boinc seeing in never got that far before crashing. I had just installed some new software and rebooted when this happened.Running Vista for the first time so don\'t know if that is the problem. Link to computer below as well as error message. Any thoughts before I try downloading another workunit?
