If you have BOINC 4.43 or greater, they upload a VERY large zip file after each end of phase, instead of saving it until the entire model is finished. So I do not quite get, did it just delete the result and current experiment was wasted or what? The folder 4861_a00297481 is still 1.2G in size so it should contain all the necessary data. |

Posted 28 Oct 2005 by bronto Post: Hello! As I moved with my laptop behind new firewall, the client hadn\'t connected for almost a month. Now I set the proper firewall in boincmgr and updated. As it had one completed job, it uploaded this but with an error. <core_client_version>4.43</core_client_version> <message><file_xfer_error> <file_name>4861_a00297481_0_1.zip</file_name> <error_code>-115</error_code> <error_message>user requested transfer abort</error_message> </file_xfer_error> </message> Can I do anything to prevent something like this from happening again? |
