1) Questions and Answers : Windows : credit not making it to my account (Message 17774)

Thanks for taking an interest Geophi, I have indeed been caught in the misallocation problem. I`m now looking for a solution to stage two of this problem - a kind chap called Carl corrected the error in credit allocation so my pc is now getting credit for the work it is doing (back dated to the appropriate time).
Unfortunately the credit earned by my pc isn`t being credited to my personnal total so my total credit hasn`t changed in months (RAC=0) and is lower than the total earned by the pc registered to the account.
I was hoping that someone could re-establish the link between my pc and my account.

Sorry to say this but you are apparently part of the misallocated work units that occurred frequently between March and late May of this year (that work unit was downloaded in late May). Thus, the user who first errored out on this work unit is obtaining the credits for your work.

Hi Everyone, Although processing of my current work unit seems to be progresing fine (fingers crossed), credit for work done is being added to the record for my pc but not making it to my personal account.

This is an improvement from the previous state where my pc wasn`t even being credited for the work it was doing but there is still something going wrong here.

Thanks in advance

Sorry to be a pain but my problem persists. As crandles points out my pc is getting credit for the work done on it but that credit isn`t getting through to my account. I know its just numbers, and the important bit is that the work is being done but seeing average credit of zero when I know the machine is contributing is a little irksome.

Hmm that\'s rather odd to see
http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_user.php?userid=6465
showing 18998

but http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=12631
showing 22117

i.e. computer info showing more credits than user info does.

I wonder if Carl changed something that is reflected in the computer info but neglected something else to get it into the user info.

Thank you everyone for your efforts and suggestions so far.
Unfortunately, the problem persists. On the bright side the trickles are showing up on my account page so the work done appears to be getting back to climatepredictor.net which is the important bit, but my total credit is still unaltered.
I`m running Boinc 4.45 (upgraded from 4.43 28th September 2005) and I do have 2 hadsm, 1 boinc.exe, and 1 boincmgr.exe processes running.

OK, I updated the results record so within 12 hours the stats recalc should show up your credit.

Have a look at Windows task manager, and see if there are 2 hadsm, 1 boinc.exe, and 1 boincmgr.exe processes running.

Although my PC appears to be working its way through my current work unit, I haven`t seen a change in my total credit over the last couple of weeks (stats tab says 60 days, but the graphs always seem a bit odd). Only noticed something was peculiar when my average credit started to drop like a stone. This isn`t happening with other BOINC projects in progress, should I be concerned?
