Is 0 CPU time normal?

Posted 27 Jan 2015 by Ardis Post: Thanks for your response, Les. Any ideas about the crashes? There have been several lately. It's a standard Dell box running Win7HomePremiumSP3. Several other BOINC projects seem to run fine. Regards, Ardis |

Is 0 CPU time normal?
(Message 51320)
Posted 27 Jan 2015 by Ardis Post: I just noticed a bit ago that my Intel quad core cruncher is running at 75% CPU. One of the active BOINC tasks is CPDN, using 0% CPU, running for 50+ hours, showing 14.809% done, with 0 CPU time. It's currently suspended. Is there any hope for this WU, or should I just abort it? still don't get credits since last breakdown

Posted 7 Sep 2013 by Ardis Post: Okay, thanks to all the contributors to this thread. I've read the whole thing, and I think I understand it all, but I just have one question: I don't seem to be getting "tickle" credit like I used to. Would it help to set my computer clock to UK time? Or should I delete my OS and reinstall? Cheers, y'all, Ardis Patience is a virtue |
