I did a quick search, but couldn't see if anyone had any solutions.

4) Questions and Answers : Getting started : Failed to clean up the windows socket interface (Message 9183) Posted 12 Feb 2005 by old_user54271 Post: I just installed the software and signed up, but when I try to get a project started, I get this message: Failed to clean up the windows socket interface I have a Toshiba Equium 10GB 256KRam with a Celeron Processor and a WIndows ME OS. I'm not networked and I only have access to a dial up connection - 54k in theory, usually 28k in practice. Any ideas? TIA
