Ah - found it! It's on the SETI at Home website. 25% changed to 0% and became --%.

If I knew where all those settings are, or how to change them, I would. I just signed up for some projects that interested me (starting twelve years or more ago) and updates and added a few as I went along. They seem to work OK, except for Climateprediction (which did, but doesn't now), and Spinhenge which I think is defunct.

Where do I go to change 25% to 0%? It's not in the Tools - Computing Preferences screen on my PC.

I'm obviously doing something wrong, because after a WU stopped working some weeks ago, I've not received any more work units. Are there any? If so, is there something that needs to be done to tell the computer to fetch them?

The last WU I had kept triggering error messages that BOINC asked to be terminated in a non-standard way (or words to that effect). It took a while to work out which project/WU was causng the problem till I watched to see which one was taking CPU time without progressing.

That was two weeks ago. Since then, I've not received any WUs from CPN. Is there something I need to do to re-enable it?

Thanks for those. The information isn't readily apparent on the Climateprediction site, although it's much more evident on some of the others.

I looked in Computing Preferences, and it's set to "not more than 50GB, but leave at least 3GB free". The drive is nowhere near full, so I don't understand what the "Notice from Server" is all about. Unfortunately, it's not possible to "copy and paste" stuff from BOINC so I can't repeat the message here.

There is only one Climateprediction job running on the machine, and no other unfinished or aborted jobs on the task tab. The computer is relatively new (March this year) and this is the first task Climateprediction has found for it, so there shouldn't be any debris left there.

The present job has used 51:44:35 so far and thinks it has another 336:29:36 to go, so it is certainly large.

I'll let this one run to conclusion, but tell the server not to download any new ones. Then I'll look to see what space is still being used, and wipe that.

Meanwhile, despite its request for more disk space, it seems still to be running.

Odder yet: looking at the disk space usage shown in BOINC, Climateprediction is already using 4.3GB - so why it thinks it only has 1GB beats me.

I got a message this evening that Climateprediction needs more disk space - it has only 1GB on my machine, and it needs 2GB.

I can't see where I tell BOINC to allow more space, and nobody else seems to have asked that question.

I'm sure it's very simple, but this old man can't find where to adjust the disk space available.

Well, I've not had any work from the project since the end of May. The PC is always on, and downloads and uploads happily on other projects.
