I used the latest version available from the Boinc website (if anyone can tell me how to set up links, I would be greatly appreciative), installed it, and it ran without a hitch. There is something in the version that\'s located in the SUSE repository that won\'t work. My computer is now up an running. Thanks for the help! :)

Message from the server: platform \'i586-suse-linux-gnu\' not found and it goes into communication deferred for 24 hours. Its doing this for every project I attach to, can anyone help me? I am starting to run linux and am learning but it needs to stay step by step if possible. Thanks.
