But when you said 'I've updated my preferences to 1 model year.' what exactly did you mean? My guess : HadAM3 => Duration = 1 model year HadAM3 are quite demanding though (RAM requirements), so if you have trouble running those, choose HadSM3 instead. You probably had that right Ananas. I picked the smallest one I could find. And now I've got 2006 hours with 45% done. I'm hanging with this thing if it fries my computer. I've gone too long to let it go now.

Thank you! My wife always says I don\'t read the instructions. I\'ve updated my preferences to 1 model year. About 15 days. Now I hope that I still can continue my 1 trillion year project. At least now I can return some WUs before the world ends. :-) I probably should have read GW3PRV\'s post HERE. Serves me right I suppose. You gotta love newbies. :-(

Message 35155 Posted 30 Sep 2008 by Dune Finkleberry	Well the computer I\'m running is a P4 3.4 GHz hyperthreading processor with a 1.5 Gig ram. Not really small, but no dog either. I think Climate Prediction should think about smaller WUs. Sigh. But I\'m sharing the crunching with two other projects, so I think I\'m jumping around a bit.
