I usually don't know when a thunderstorm is coming until the first thunderclap is heard. My computer is in the basement. I shut down immediately.

Thanks.

I wasn't sure if my work was saved or not, so that is nice to know. I noticed

When I launch the terminal, I just hit the up arrow to the command and hit return. No typing. I will do a shell script for it, but that is for another day. Rather rusty in the scripting department.

BTW, I erred when I said I was a refugee of Folding@home, that should have been the now completed distributed folding project. I really enjoyed doing that project. I still have folding@home running in the background and have been for many years.

this is where I am at this time. 1811?

It will soon be thunderstorm season, which means sometimes I have to shut down my computer, how do I pick up where I left off?

I haven't found anything on it yet, maybe I am looking in the wrong place. Please help this folding@home refugee.
