Any suggestions
2) Questions and Answers : Getting started : Communication problem (Message 32695) Posted 21 Feb 2008 by old_user455243 Post: The connected is showing in the right hand corner but the message I am getting is \"Scheduler request failed:couldn\'t resolve host name\" Have you tried \'advanced / select computer\', and then just clicking OK and leave everything blank? Does it say anything in the lower-right hand corner of the Boinc manager? (i.e., connected or disconnected). This is the communication between the Boinc manager and the Boinc client (which does the work). The other kind of connection is the connection from the Boinc client back to the project servers at Oxford. Problems in this area would usually show up in the \'messages\' tab (things such as \'http error\'). It may be worth looking at the readme file called \'crashes and other problems\', in the \'network\' section to see if there is anything which sheds light on your problem.

I went to advanced and options there is nothing under connections. Tied seting default and nothing happened. Can anyone tell me how to reconnect? Thanks
4) Questions and Answers : Windows : \"waiting to run\" problem (Message 29432) Posted 2 Jul 2007 by old_user455243 Post: Your two models have been running at 4+ sec per timestep which seems to me a bit slow for your computer. Have you got the screensaver running? It does slow the crunching down and could make a model crash due to the limited memory more likely. I\'d recommend disabling it. OK will try that, thanks

You appear to have a hyperthreaded CPU so this should read 2. The newer clients will suspend projects if there is a lack of memory. Your host only has 512mb of memory so that probably explains it. OK, but it has run both for nearly a month and was saying that there were 2. Now it only says one. I will check my memory anyway. Thanks

In advanced view in BOINC, tasks, it says under status that the project is \"waiting to run\". How do I start it running again. I\'ve tried rebooting but this hasn\'t had any effect. Thanks.
