WHEN IT REACHED 84% OF STAGE 3, THE PROGRAM SUDDENLY TRIED TO UPLOAD. IT HAS BEEN UNABLE TO COMPLETE THIS UPLOAD AND WILL NOT GO BACK TO RUNNING THE PROGRAM. IT KEEPS TRYING TO UPLOAD A PROGRAM DESIGNATED 5nghaa.pa.xl.nc.gz. IT HAS BEEN STUCK ON THIS FOR 4 DAYS NOW. I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF COMPLETE THE UPLOAD OR GET IT TO GO BACK TO COMPLETING THE EXPERIMENT. I TRIED REBOOTING, TURNING THE EXPERIENT OFF AND THEN BACK ON, TURNING THE BOINC PROGRAM OFF AND THEN BACK ON AND MANUAL UPLOAD FROM THE HOME PAGE. CLICKING THE "UPLOAD MY RESULTS" TAB IN THE CLIMATEPREDICTION.NET WINDOW DOESN'T WORK. THE TAB IS INACTIVE EITHER. IF I CAN’T FIGURE THIS OUT SOON I AM JUST GOING TO HAVE TO DELETE THE ENTIRE PROGRAM. I DON’T WANT TO DO THAT AFTER THREE MONTHS OF RUNNING THE EXPERIMENT. PLEASE HELP.

My account shows that there have been no trickles in over 3 months running the experiment. I have tried everything that I can think of, but, can't figure out why? I am now in the third phase of my experiment, and have never been able to trickle. I am growing concerned that when I finish the third phase I will not be able to upload the results. I don’t want to spend 4 months on this for nothing! By clicking on the BOINC icon in the task bar I found a page with the headings of “Project”, “Work”, “Transfers”, “Messages” and “Disk”. When I click “Messages” a whole screen of text come up showing my computer has been trying to upload files, unsuccessfully. Some of the text on the screen reads: “Can’t resolve hostname www.climateprediction .net (valid nam…” Is this hostname right? “Can’t read master page for climate prediction.net: error-113” “Master file fetch failed” The Computer then defers communication for varying periods of time. What is error 113? At other times my computer tries to upload a specific file. Screen reds: “Can’t resolve hostname www.climateprediction .net (valid nam…” “Can’t start upload for http://phkup21.unbe.ch/boinc/file_…” It then “backs off” for a varying period of time before trying again. What are these files? Are they attempts to trickle? The computer has also tried (and failed) to upload something called 2hk9_200137248_0_1.zip Does anyone out there understand this, because I sure don’t. I know that I have been online at some of the times that the computer was trying to communicate. Sometimes I have even been connected to the climateprediction website. Why can’t it get through? I TRIED GOING IN BY CLICKING ON THE "B" ICON IN THE TRAY, BUT, THAT BRINGS UP A "PROJECTS" TAB THAT DOES NOT DO ANYTHING WHEN I CLICK ON IT. NO CPDN LINE, NO UPDATE. I have been looking, but, can’t find the "projects" tab that you speak of. What page is it on? I am sure that I am running BOInc, and that the "DISABLE" box is unchecked.

I'm almost all the way through the first phase of my first experiment, and my profile says that I am not “trickling”. I can’t figure out why. I’ve reviewed my preferences to see if I unknowingly told it not to trickle, but, cannot find anything. I am on line an average of 2 hours a day, and have a dial up connection, so there is an internet connection for at least part of the day. Because of this I’m not getting any credits. Please help.

The other day I was watching the display and it seemed to go directly from October 30, 1814 to November 1, 1814. I believed that it skipped October 31, 1814. Is this possible.
