> unzipped from the archive. Even if you don't want to do it now, keeping them

Disk space is not an issue (yet) so I will keep the files because the science does interest me. Thanks.

My first CPDN BOINC work unit completed two days ago. However, I have just noticed 350MB of left over files (all .zip except a single .xml) in the old WU directory.

Is it safe to just go ahead and delete this lot and the wu directory or do they need to be kept for any reason? Running on WinXP Pro SP2, BOINC 4.05, old model ran hadsm3 4.02 [this was one obtained on the beta program].

Thanks Carl - I'll ignore it then.

Mine has literally dropped 2k in the last 20 minutes (1907 I am sending this) but is now picking up (just gone up 600). Contrary to you shady it seems to be my machine that was in the beta test that took the hit. Last trickle earlier today was just after 1700 then it went back to 1/9 now it is back to 3/9. I presume the recalculation is going on and has reached me - might also explain my Server State Inactive (see separate thread).

Im sure it was 'In Progress' the last time a looked a couple of days ago. Just wondered if anything had changed.

I didn't really understand the explanation when I clicked on Explain in the Server Status column - "The result is not ready to send (for example, because its input files are unavailable)". That sounds like a CPDN server issue rather than my end. The WU has hit 96.72% complete (should finish sometime tomorrow, 8/9/04, with luck) and I'll be a bit miffed if it collapses now!!

Just checked my results page:
http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/results.php?userid=454

and I am perplexed by the last entry for Work Unit and Result ID 4970. I am very near to completing this unit - only three trickles away I think and this looks a bit ominous. All the others are \"In Progress\" - is this going to go base over apex when it completes?

TIA
