Well, right now the WEB server is up (I'm typing this after all), but the scheduler has not responded for the last hour or so.
22) Questions and Answers : Preferences : howto delete a host? (Message 3539)

I have the same problem - except that the machine that I cannot delete is an NT4 box. Before RTFM I installed CPDN on two NT boxes, and was only able to delete one of the host records. If CPDN will not run on NT4, then I cannot have any results for that host, and this cannot be the reason I can't delete it.

I realize that it doesn't affect my stats, but it bothers me that I cannot get rid of a host that will never have any results.

By the time that I got to the machine to verify, it had already downloaded a new WU. SETI was cruching, so I can't verify that the WU is valid, but I'm assuming it will be.

On one of my machines, I\'m getting this \"error\". This machine has NEVER actually downloaded a CPDN workunit. I do have two other machines that have and are crunching merrily along, time-slicing with Seti.

Is there a limit to the number of workunits assigned to a specific user over a given time period?

(machine specs for what they are worth - basically a twin of one of the machines that has downloaded successfully)

Boinc v4.05
W2KPro SP4
P4 2.0GHz
256MB RAM

&gt; Ken,
&gt;
&gt; Take a look at this <a> href="//climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=326&amp;post=2331#2331"&gt;thread</a>.
&gt; It seems that CPDN have compatibility problems with NT4 and Windows 98.
&gt;

Ahhhh

RTFM huh?

OK, just more cycles for Seti adn predictor (when they get v4 running.

among the machines that I\'ve loaded BOINC 4.05 on are two NT4SP6a desktops. both were previously running BOINC 3.20 with no problems.

After the upgrade, one runs fine, and one gives me the error

\"The procedure entry point Open Thread could not be located in the dynamic Link Library KERNEL32.DLL\"

I\'ve reloaded SP6a on this machine and KERNEL32.DLL is the same size and has the date stamp on both machines

Anybody have any ideas?

TIA
ken
