Posted 20 Dec 2020 by keputnam Post: Sigh I must have been half asleep when I posted I indeed have only one WU And the expected run time is 12 days, not 12 hours But a 1 year deadline is still ludicrous |

Posted 19 Dec 2020 by keputnam Post: I was under the impression that Project Admins set the deadline for each batch released if they have a batch with short expected run times, set a short deadline If longer expected run times, a longer deadline Or am I misunderstanding something? I currently have two WUs with expected run times of ~12 hours, and a deadline of 1 year, which is absurd |

(Message 44051)
Posted 20 Apr 2012 by keputnam Post: I have noticed that there are very few WUs being created My problem, is that I have set "all applications" and have not set any geographical limits (at least I don't think that I have - How can I tell??) and I've been on the Server Status page a couple of times, and have seen a few WUs available. If I immediately do an update, I get "Not reporting or requesting tasks" in the log My last WU was reported more than two weeks ago, and I have a fairly large CPU percentage set for CPDN, so why would BoincMgr not be requesting more work? TIA for any insight |

Posted 15 Dec 2004 by keputnam Post: I am almost to the same point All other projects (Seti and Pirates for now, LHC and Predictor before they shut down) are rock solid. I don't think that I've ever gotten farther than about 40% when CPDN throws a Fortram Error or a program exception or for some reason trashes the current WU and downloads another. The only thing that CPDN really has going for it is that right now, it and Seti are the only ones with work to do. There for a while, they were the only project that actually was giving out work |
