2) Questions and Answers : Preferences : 100% cpu usage with 5.8.15 :( (Message 27713) Posted 4 Apr 2007 by old_user440081 Post: hi, boinc manager doesn\'t follow the preferences i got :( i read that topic below and i installed v5.8.15. it doesn\'t work, though. i get 100% of cpu usage, but i\'d like to use not more than 40%. i tried changing the config using this website, then i checked out boinc manager and, on the menu bar, if i choose \"activity>run based on preferences\" and \"activity>network activity based on preferences\"... update button does nothing. what can i do? thanks!
