Despite the message, the project had been running normally. I nonetheless tried removing and re-adding, and the website stopped sending me work. I tried removing and re-adding again. Again, no work. What did I do wrong?
2) Questions and Answers : Macintosh : Migrating a model from Windows to Tiger (Message 29038) Posted 28 May 2007 by HexhedRon Post: I run one model under WinXP and Grid Republic Desktop (recently migrated from a WinXP PC to a Parallels WinXP virtual machine) and another model by the Tiger native BOINC app. I would rather run both models natively on the Mac, because (among other reasons) I don\'t run Parallels continuously. To migrate the first model from the VM to the Mac, I tried copying the [modelname] directory from C:\\Program Files\\BOINC\\projects\\climateprediction.net\\ to /Library/Application Support/BOINC Data/projects/www.climateprediction.net/ --that is, I placed it side by side with the directory holding the model that was already running by the native Mac OS BOINC app. My native Mac OS copy of the BOINC app did not recognize the model I copied.
