Cpu Amd 64X2 3800+
Temps Full load on socket 41C, Core0 = 45C, Core1 39C
Gigabyte GA-K8N Pro-Sli mainbord
I have 2 x 1 Gb of PC3200 2.5-3-3-8 memory modules in dual channel setup.
About 2,5 TB diskspace so this should not be the issue either.
Video Geforce 6800 GT
Watercooled system (cpu, video, drives)

Non other processes are running other then vista stuff.
The only difference i know of between the xp and vista install is the dual core optimizer on the xp setup

Hi

I have a dual boot system amd 3800+ with XP and Vista Ult.
I am running CPDN on both cpu\'s
When i boot into XP i see the processes running smooth and show a continues proces at both 100% cpu load
But when i boot into Vista for testing i found that the same boinc now runs erratic on the cpu load it jumps up and down from 5 % load up till 100 % and doesn\'t change in time either.
So looks to me lots of cpu cycles lost for CPDN.
Any know a solution to this problem

24) Questions and Answers : Windows : After update boinc manager units changed (Message 27438)

I was using a rater old version of the manager and updated this to the latest version.

After the start of boinc i saw it suddenly have other workunits id 5861115 and 5979062

The ones who it was doing where 5926363 and 5927384 disappeared from the list but they where lots more advanced then these.
On the disk i don\'t see those work units anymore as well where did they go ?!?

How is this possible and why does this happen.

Is it possible to get those units back into the work list
The other amazing thing is the difference in reported benchmark:

Measured floating point speed 2626.96 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 7683.54 million ops/sec

And the one now :
Measured floating point speed 1859.19 million ops/sec
Measured integer speed 3353.75 million ops/sec
