1) Questions and Answers : Windows : New: Throttling CPU Usage, Simple BOINC GUI (Message 27441) Posted 22 Mar 2007 by old_user409817 Post: I updated my settings on the Global Preferences web page but for some reason my CPU is still running at 100% whenever BOINC is open. This happens despite the settings being set to only run after 3mins of inactivity and even then only at 75% of full capacity. I\'ve tried restarting the client and for some reason it\'s still not picking up the new settings. Any ideas?
