I now believe that to be a mistake having read what you said about 'Wu'(?). I cannot find the preference set that allows me to re-set Trickle to 'on' nor can I find the 'Boinc upload client'.
2) Questions and Answers : Macintosh : BOINC client disappeared (Message 8664) Posted 5 Feb 2005 by old_user40064 Post: I am using a G5/2Ghz/1.5Gb Memory/ OS 10.3.7. I installed BOINC as per instructions but cannot find the client as it is supposed to upload/download automatically when a web connection is needed. Also I cannot find the 'allow trickle' preference. I seem to have some data stored but nothing like the amount SETI is chucking out. SETI is processing 4 units every 24 hours!
