After I set it as follow: Use at most Enforced by version 5.8 and greater 25% of memory when computer is in use Use at most Enforced by version 5.8 and greater 90% of memory when computer is idle When I work, one task will be running and the other waiting for memory. It will switch between the 2 tasks every 60 minutes(The value can be changed). When The computer is idle, both tasks run. |

Memory Usage
(Message 20126)
Posted 11 Feb 2006 by old_user39679 Post: I checked the moemry usage when I suspend ans when I run BOINC. The difference is around 62 MB. That\'s a lot when running Windows XP with 256 MB SDRAM, and the system gets slower when I run climateprediction models dur to swapping. Is this memory usage normal? Can it be tuned down? |
