And if you don\'t have this file??

I take it you don\'t have the e-mail they sent you when you origianlly created your account?

If not, go to the \"Your account\" link and \"Log out\", then go back to the \"Your account\" link and click on the \"If you don\'t know your account key, click here\" link about forgetting your account key, then fill in the e-mail address you gave when you first registered.

Thank you!!

It\'s the value after the <authenicator> tag on the third line of the account_climateprediction.net file in your BOINC directory.

And if you don\'t have this file??

I updated my Bonic program to 4.25.

My AMD processor finally completed a work unit. Just thought I would share that with anybody that was interested.
5) Questions and Answers : Windows : Duplicate Computer Names/Merge hosts problem (Message 12283)

Just wondering if CPDN is going to fix the problem of duplicate computer names like SETI did.

I know it is just a trivial thing but it would be a nice thing to be able to merge the duplicate hosts. Some little glitch has changed the way the proccesor is identified or so it appears to me.

I had asked this question a while back. But I was told the model was designed to work with both processor types, and that the problem was with my memory, mainboard, or something else.

Now you are saying that the model was designed for Intel CPU's.??

Their main drawback is speed? My XP 2500 processor (actual clock speed is 1.8g)is considerably faster than my Intel 2.0g processor.

I will continue to run my AMD processor in hopes that it will complete a work unit. So far it is working.

Is there any way to get the server status like seti@home has?
Here is the link for those of you who are interested.
http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_status.html

It would be even better if the Boinc program would just tell us the status...but.
9) Questions and Answers : Windows : SETI/BOINC On Version 4.12 (Message 5320)

when I tried it again using the above procedure it worked!

To bad I did not know about it before I lost all my work!

Thanks for the info though!!!

Disregard:I have upgraded both of my machines, one is a Win2k with SP4 and one is a XP home with SP2.

The new 4.12 ver did not work on either of them. It ran benchmarks then came up with program not responding errors.

Back up your work before you upgrade so you don't lose 300hrs of work!!

climateprediction.net - 2004-09-27 06:30:22 - Resuming computation for result 01cy_400026747_0 using hadsm3 version 4.03

I am running XP - with an Intel P4 2.0 Ghz

I just had the time to completion and the progress meter both reset on this work unit. Also in the graphic it has reset the time stamp back to zero.

What do I do to fix this problem?
