It\'s the per task completion time. It monopolizes my time for just climate prediction at the expense of other tasks. I use GridRepublic precisely because I want to spread my donation over several projects. The maximum per task time I\'m willing to support is about twelve hours. Yes, I can turn down the switch time but that has the opposite problem - then I am spread so thin that projects expire before they are completed. Given these choices I concluded that the climate prediction project prefers time donors who want to specialize, and have removed myself.
