On a hyperthreaded processor, both models have crashed within a few days of each other, again with the Windows bug report box. My Windows info is the same as Hugo's but I'm running BOINC 4.19

My bookmarked URL fails and I get redirected to the main site. ok. When I go there, I see a title "Discussion Group for Participants"... clicking that link give me a 404 error. Thanks... I can confirm it is working on two of my systems which had failed to make a connection after being re-booted. The third system that was on 24/7 never lost the connection.

You are absolutely right there... a recently rebuilt system with a P4 3.6GHz processor and a couple of hi-speed SATA drives pumps out so much heat in my study I've been able to turn the radiator off!

I've heard of a lot of problems with upgrading to a newer version of CP mid-way thru a WU, so I'm going to wait until this run is complete before getting the next version." I've recently upgraded three systems (XP Home, XP Pro & Windows 2000) to 4.13, mid-run with no problems. Simply suspend and exit BOINC, install the upgrade and restart. BOINC will report the software upgrade, run the benchmarks and restart.
