I read others who had the same problem, everywhere I go I see that problem. It only started about a few weeks ago (prolly with the latest version of hadsm) and has been so bad that i and others were forced to detach from climate prediction. The errors are actually noticeable through a popup box that says something failure. I think runtime or some such (dont remember) with extra details. It will add to this box a certain line over and over again over time as it continually fails, at that point I have to terminate BOINC with alt-ctrl-del, and then in addition terminate hadsm because it doesnt close with boinc. I thought it might have to do with my upgrade from 4.09 to 4.13 But I downgraded and it still does that. I dont know whats the problem, but it only started recently (after the new version of hadsm was released). So I suspect it. I had a WU I worked on for quite a while when it first errored, since then it downloaded several new WU as replacement and they all errored after only a few hours. I did notice that it usually errors while my computer is EXTREMLY overloaded by a heavy program that is running, I wonder if this has anything to do with it (its very heavy on HDD access especially, but it access a different HDD) I do not have a superman complex; for I am God, not superman!

It already crashed two results. I use boinc 4.13 aswell. I noticed there is a new version of hadsm (4.04), Windows 98/ME/NT4/2000/XP 4.04 29 Sep 2004 12:17:40 UTC. Ok so my first result to go bye bye was at about 80% complete, been working it for quite some time now. it died on 18 Oct 2004 12:58:28. It downloaded a new one and after 3 mere tricklets died again. at 25 Oct 2004 15:13:49 I have a feeling this is going to be a trend. Oh I had to terminate BOINC btw (clicking away the error message wasnt enough) once that happened. AND restart the computer since restarting boinc still left it gittery (it probably just didnt terminate hadsm but i didnt wanna bother with that).
