THX Ingleside, this machine uses BOINCMgr 6.10.58 , I suspended CPDN before the WU got the next -.zip file. I will restart work when kraken and 'his fellows' will be online...perhaps next year. so have nice holidays and a happy new year^^ littleBouncer |

Is the uploadtry time infinite or will this WU's crashing by to many upload errors? I thought on \'iceworld\' because that task is blue on TemperatureScreen and have no clouds, but Date and Time is 00.00.0000 at 00:00 ...... If you have no running CPDN tasks or only new ones that you haven\'t invested much time and effort in, I\'d detach from CPDN then reattach as I explained in my last post here. Get rid of all the old files. OK, I\'ll do so. I also excluded BOINC-Folder (and sub-Folders) to be scanned and protected from the AntiVirus-Program (Norton Internet Security) greetz littleBouncer |

Before I had an \'Iceworld\' ,quit about 9000 TS after finishing the 1st phase. And now again a \'Iceworld\' with repeatedly this Fortran-error message. Because my BAM-account there looks not as it should (no host listed in the \'host list\' area , no CPDN\'detailed stats\'-icon on \'my projects list\'(all other project have this Icon(link)), and a few computer listed in the \'my detailed stats\' - \'link to users host stats\'( 4 or 5 time the same Intel)). greetz littleBouncer |

As you can see , I could delete that ghost host on Predictor, but I couldn\'t delete it on CPDN, because there is no \'Delete\'-Button on CPDN\'s Computerpage. I don\'t know how this ghost host was created. At 23.09.08 I have made only 2 actions: 1. Reattache to CPDN, after several years of inactivity. 2. I tried to install a computer on the BAM \'host list\', where I activated \'prepare new host\', because my computer is not listed there. I want delete this ghost host for statistical reasons. Otherwise it is also a security-problem !(not for me, but for the ghost host....) greetz littleBouncer |

Posted 23 Oct 2008 by old_user26115 Post: First of all : THX for granting this WU At 10.10.08 My Computer was infected by a Virus-worm with a Trojan-Generator on Board. It was sent by an e-mail attachement : \'[NO REPLY]UPS Tracking Code\' - Mail with attachement. After the deleting of several infected Files, Windows started corrupted: No Shortcuts on Desktop, no \'Explorer\' (and its functions) worked, only by the Task-Manager I could start some programms . First of all I looked if BOINC works, and what happens to the CPDN-WU? As I saw that BOINC is working as it should and the CPDN-WU was still crunching, I choose to wait with the New-Installation of Windows just the CPDN-WU is done...so I let the machine crunch... at 21.10.08 12:00 (UTC+2) the CPDN-WU was done, but I couldn\'t report it at this time (Database-M). After reporting I saw: workunit error, check skipped, but the credit was granted. THX for that. It seems that the \'CPDN-Monitor\' uses some \'explorer-functions\' , what causes the error-messages in the \'stderr out\'.
