Post: Going to ask the "stupid question" can you connect to any thing, email or just browse? If you can not connect to anything me thinks you do not have it connected or configured correctly. I use Zone Alarm as my firewall and it requires that I give, Boinc Client permission to connect as a server and permission to Boinc Manager for Windows to access my trusted zones Lan and internet. <a href="http://boinc-doc.net/boinc-wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page">Link to Unoffical Wiki for BOINC, by Paul and Friends</a> |

Post: I would never use the screen saver, I set my monitor to blank after 10 mins... You should only have 2 WUs one for each HT cpu, if you are talking about CPDN WUWUs. If you want to watch the graphics just R click on the progress line of a WUWU that is being processes..... |
