My RAC continues to change with daily updates, but my total credit has not changed for several days.

I agree with Ian.

Thank you Hannah.

CPDN can sometimes seem remote and "faceless" to us crunchers. You have given scientific data and project information a "Human" dimension, for which I have been very grateful.

May your successes continue!

I agree that it does not affect the processing of the tasks themselves.

It is however an annoyance, because it then makes all the other estimated times increase. That in turn delays the downloading of new tasks because CPDN sees that I have much more work to do, so I do not need more tasks yet.

For Example: currently, the estimate for SHORTs has gone up from 22 hours to over 27 hours. Of course, they will only take 22 hours, it is just that the estimated time is now incorrect.

That happened with the last batch of AFRs which had e..x..t..e..n..d..e..d Remaining time Estimates!

These WAH2s are behaving in a similar fashion.

Mine have not. They still have a wrong estimate.

I see a new batch of WAH2s have been issued. Are these the same as before (just a re-issue), or have they been modified I wonder?

Similar results for my i7 win10 64bit 7.2.33 set up.

Shorts and PNW about 1.6s/ts
AFR about 2.4s/ts
WAH2 about 5.3s/ts

Now up to 55% progress on 3 tasks, I estimate it will take around 200 hours total per task.

With always on fast broadband the file sizes are no problem.

I still have 3 running on my Win 10 64bit computer using BOINC v7.2.33.
They have each sent 3 ZIPs successfully and are at 33% progress.

The time remaining estimate looks too short though, so they are taking longer than the original estimate.

Perhaps we can get them made Linux only for any future runs.

Hey, my 64 bit Windows 8.1 computer runs them well. In fact, many complete on my computer that have failed elsewhere.

I just wish I did not have so many 1980 No Resubmission tasks sent to me!

Those 3 tasks were all 1980 "No Resubmission" tasks.

In the last few days I have aborted around 20 of those.

All the 1980s seem to be "No Resubmission".
It would have helpful if notice could have been given that there was a "Rogue" batch, so that we could abort them.

Mine is set so that when I shut down the manager, it stops running any tasks.

I assumed that meant that the Client was shut down, am I wrong?

Richard, I followed your instructions exactly (I did have to Unblock the file), but unfortunately that suggestion did not work either.

When the new task was requested, the client_state file was renewed with the original status of -200.

Once again the anz_se file was reported as the wrong size.

I'm now trying a different approach.

I've found the reference to this file in my Client_State file:

<file>
<name>hadam3p_anz_se_6.10_windows_intelx86.zip</name>
<nbytes>259472.000000</nbytes>

<download_url>http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/download/mirror.php?file=/hadam3p_anz_se_6.10_windows_intelx86.zip</download_url>

I've edited the <nbytes>259472 to read 1167827, which is the size of the file that it keeps wanting to download. Hopefully, it will now believe it is the correct size.
