No credit with 160+ hours CPU time?

Posted 9 Mar 2007 by old_user220509 Post: Is there any way to get the laptop work to report into the account on the desk top? I give up. I aborted the file, removed BOINC, reloaded BOINC and we are now working on a \"c\" set. I would like to let my other computer know what I am doing but that appears to be over my technical ability. Thank you for your patience. Don |

Posted 9 Mar 2007 by old_user220509 Post: One thing that I forgot to include in my first post, although it should be set to this by default: Hi, I have I have Work Unit hadcm3pbb_bo97_0587622 running on my laptop and according to the graphics - I have accomplished 2.13% at this point. I hesitate to dump the task on the laptop because it seems to be reporting. This work is not recognized in my account on the laptop computer. I have another desk top computer that is successfully running three other projects and all that work is reporting successfully and my account on that computer reflects the work. Is there any way to get the laptop work to report into the account on the desk top? |

Posted 8 Mar 2007 by old_user220509 Post: Thank you Mike. I started this process in January on my unused desk top and discovered that Climate Prediction would be all that I could work on. I aborted Climate Prediction and set up three other projects and committed my retired lap top to Climate Prediction. When I loaded BOINK and Climate Prediction on the laptop BOINK must have remembered I had started a task because I ended up with two tasks to run \"b097\" and \"aydb\". I have over 180 hours of CPU time in \"bo97\" and it does not report. I am sorry that I could not figure out how to post messages but it did report that I had aborted the \"aydb\"task and that I am running \"b097\". I would feel a lot better knowing that this effort is going somewhere. |
