Thank you. Point taken!
Incidentally is there away to allow more \'BOINC time\' if I only have the one model running and very little else running on the machine?

I have a similar circumstance and a near-identical message. Should I let it run or abandon? N.B. I have restricted the preferences to run one model at a time but it won\'t use me than 50% CPU. Can I adjust this upwards?

3) Questions and Answers : Getting started : Two tasks to one project in BOINC? (Message 26222)

Hi,

I signed up recently and have no technical problems to report- wahey!

However, I\'d like to speed things up by running just one task instead of two. In the BOINC -> Projects tab it shows one project (climateprediction.net) but in the BOINC -> Tasks there are two entries (hadcm3ohe...).

If I suspend one another one just downloads and starts. So how do I run just one and would it help the project team to finish one task sooner or two tasks later?

I gather the BOINC \'to completion\' estimates are a bit dubious but I\'ve got 3000 hrs to finish both -its a bit unlikely to happen inside a year.
