Hi Thank you for your quick reply. All cores are enabled, but I am downloading to a single core CPU and then moving the files to a Quad core CPU. CDPN will only let me fetch one unit - a Quad core needs four units (one for each core) - |

Posted 9 Jul 2008 by old_user206592 Post: Hi I have a Quad core Xeon computer that I would like to use for the BOINC project, but it is located behind a firewall and a need to download tasks etc. to an older and slower single core computer and manually move the files. The problem is that CDPN/Boinc thiks that I will not be able to complete the tasks, because they only see the old single core. How can I bypass this? earlier I was allowed to download two tasks, but now I can only download one (and I need four to utilize the CPU) Best Regards Anders |
