No. CPDN doesn't use boinc's validation function.

aren't used by cpdn, but they are in the boinc server software. Those stats are left on the server status page (which can be confusing) since they are not removed every time a server upgrade occurs.

That is not the same issue. This issue in this thread is with the download server having a bad SSL cert. What you are showing is that the project has no tasks available.

That is one thing I thought I was showing: no complaints about bad SSL certificates.
The fact that there are no tasks available is true, but not really surprising.

Where'd you get that from? I've got 8 Windows and 1 Linux PC and I never get work.

Try again now. Andy says it's been fixed, and I can get a secure connection from a Windows browser. Chrome says the connection is secure, and that the certificate is valid: but strangely it has a CN of dev.cpdn.org (not download). The acid test will be when we start getting downloads across the board.

I see that following the latest fix, computers running Linux, Windows and MacOS have all been able to return results so things have certainly improved even if there are still problems for some users.

I now need someone attached with https to see if their machines are refusing to update.

I connect with https and can look at my task list, the server status, and these messages. But I cannot update

Any emails back from Andy? I understand if perhaps he's on vacation. Or perhaps there are other projects going on that are taking up his time. And it looks like Hadley work units have been blocked from being downloaded for two weeks.

CPDN's main server was shutdown (old VMware server) so they were running solely on the backup server but now have new physical machine and Andy is busy installing the software and moving over the backups to that new main server. I'm sure he'll get to the certificates etc in time.

I haven't had any download issues so can't judge whether all cases have been addressed.

Will email Andy if no one else does first. (just going out.) I thought that the hardware move hadn't actually happened yet but may be wrong.
