To build on what the others already said, people who use climate simulation data are interested in a range of time scales, from the next couple of decades out to a century away, or even beyond. Though, in this case the 2091-2100 dates are not meant to literally refer to those years - the simulations are for scenarios where the climate system has equilibrated at 1.5C or 2C warming above pre-industrial, corresponding to what would happen if the Paris Agreement goals were met, and so they could correspond to a much wider range of future years - we call the range of years 2091-2100 for convenience. It's a range of years because each year has sea surface temperatures and sea ice differing from the average in the same way as has been observed before (over 2006-2015), so the simulations include a realistic amount of year-to-year variability.
