2) Questions and Answers : Windows : How do I report \"Lost\" WU? (Message 7175) Posted 5 Jan 2005 by old_user1727 Post: I recentely had a mainboard meltdown that took my drive along for the ride. I have no backup of the CPDN WU. After checking on the reported progress of that WU (337629) I realized that I am currently the only one assigned to it. It seems a waste to have it just spinning in the ether with no one working on it. Since the files cannot be recovered from my HD, my question: Is there currently any way for me to report that WU as unrecoverable?
