Hi All,

I have two PCs who are working for CPDN, the problem is that the laptop is not working good any more and I\'m afraid that it will stop working very soon but it has still two work units on it who are already started so I hope there is a workaround available to replace them to my other PC because it is a pity when they get lost.

Hello fellow crunchers,

After stopping for a while with CPDN I have made a new start with the BOINC project, I am running at this moment SETI and now I will also start up my CPDN project, when I say in the BOINC manager that I will put in a new project then it will ask for the URL and the key of the (CPDN) project, I give it both in, URL and key, and then it is telling me that the key is oke but the URL is wrong, what can I/must do to make it work, I hope that someone can give me some help on this.

Thanks in advance, Browny_NL

I am already working with (beta) BOINC client version 4.62 and that's working, already two weeks now, very good with cpdn so I think 4.25 will not give any problems so far.

Hi Jim.

No I am not Running multiple projects, its running already and started where it has stopped but I still don't know why, I did a restart of it and ev'rything is workin fine, why I want to know it happened is: The machine is working day & night so this problem is happening in the middle of the night than its not working for the time that I'm sleeping and thats a pity and I think that you are agree with that, so maybe we will hear about it in a later stage or so, thank you for your answer.

Hi Pierce,

You have to run it as a service, go to "http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/quick_faq.php" there you find something like Running BOINC as a service, read it and do it and you'll have what you want.

Hello All,

I have two PC's working on the CPDN units and ev'rything works fine but the second PC is going to be sold so what I want is finishing the current unit and not downloading a new one, so what can I do to prevent that because before the running one is over there is already a new one to be started, I hope to hear some suggestions.

Be sure that the BOINC program is stopped then install de new version over it and restrt BOINC again, that will do it.
To be certain make a copy from the BOINC dir so you can always go back when something is going wrong.

Hello Fellow members of CPDN/BOINC,

I work with BOINC v.413 and I'm very pleased with it because its doing well, it is running as a service in WXPPro and thats also working fine, but now the question, I've started this afternoon the CPDNSpy program (1.31) and the problem is that it will not give the Computerstats and the progresstats, userstats and teamstats are oke but when I looked in the settings tab there I see that the name of the group I'm on is not the same as the one in the groupstats (thats the good one) in the beginning I was member of the AMD users and now it is the Team of scotland so what am I doing wrong, hope that somebody can help me out.

> Make sure you are in the Boinc directory when you issue the command from a DOS
