Posted 30 Jun 2008 by old_user146046 Post: Thanks for the response. When I attempt to post to the message board \'Cafe Cpdn\' it prompts me for user name and password. I joined in 2006 through the bionc manager. I had to quit because my 400mhz machine at the time was too small. I never created account on the message boards to my knowledge. I get to this fourm through the bionc manager. If I am mistaken and did create account I tried to log in as Rod and a password I normally use at this security level. No Luck I tried to get it to email me my password and it states user name is invalid or inactive for this email address. I searched the membership lists when I joined in Jan 3 2006 and I could not see my name. I tried to create an account again I still get the same error message. If I have account with user name Rod How can I recover the password |

Disc Space Problem
(Message 19409)
Posted 18 Jan 2006 by old_user146046 Post: Greetings: I am currently running a sulphur model on a 400 Mhz iMac running MAC OS 10.3 with a 10GB internal drive and a 160 GB external drive. Currently all BOINC data is on the internal drive with the operating system, but I do not believe I have the disc space (~2GB) to complete the model on the internal drive. Is there any way I can move the Boinc Data file in the Library on the internal drive to the external drive and configure the Bionc manager for this change. Will redownloading and installing the boinc manager on the external drive will force it to use the boinc data on the external drive. I tried to move boic data to the external drive with the boinc manager on the internal drive but it did not work it did not load with any projects. I would like to contribute to this project because I believe it is important. Thank you in advance. Regards Rod |
