how do I get BOINC to load on start up?

Posted 21 Feb 2006 by old_user143020 Post: Are you saying if you reinstall BOINC, and check \"Load at Windows Startup\" (or whatever it\'s called), it won\'t place the boincmanager icon in the Startup folder? No I am saying it did not even give me that option and now I am unable to automate start up. I presume there is a work around even if it is a registry tweak. |

Posted 20 Feb 2006 by old_user143020 Post: I am unable to get the BOINC manager to start automatically at start up. I have tried modifying start menu but this does not seem to work. It seems a shame that a program that is supposed to use spare processor cycles needs to be manually started as I often forget for up to an hour. |
