The version of Linux will not change, but the hard drive will be repartitioned. What pitfalls, if any, should I be aware of when movig the current climate prediction model to the rebuilt system? There was a slightly related posting a while back: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=4463 Currently I\'m thinking I will: 1.) stop boinc, and tar the files in the boinc directory. 2.) move the tar file to another computer. 3.) repartition and rebuild the Linux computer; and, install boinc. 4.) copy the tar\'d boinc files to the new boinc folder, and away we go. Does anyone see anything I\'m missing, or have other suggestions? Thanks for any help or insights? Chris
