I actually have no AV software installed. I only have McAfee\'s firewall, and checking it\'s log there is nothing hinting at this crash...

Looking through the boards I see this is a very common crash with no known solution besides backups. I had no backups, so that\'s 300+ hours down the drain. Anyway, I just decided to add this thread with two pieces of information that might be useful to the dev team. I opened the yabsd.out and at the end this is to be found: INANCILA: Error opening file on unit 30 accessed from env.var.: OZONE INANCCTL: Error return from INANCILA 1 INANCLA: Error opening file ************************** Model aborted with error code - 1 Routine and message:- INANCLA: Error opening file ************************** Furthermore, since the beginning my model has been stopping unexpectedly every 3-4 hours, supposedly due to the Windows XP time synch (this had previously been verified to trigger this problem on my computer). This major crash happened exactly 3 hours after the last \'exit with zero status\' (windows time synch), so apparently it crashed during a time synch. My computer is not overclocked, and I have current drivers for everything. Specs: BOINC 5.2.13 Athlon Barton 2800+ 1 GB DDR 5900FX GPU 17 GB free HD space The name of the workunit was sulphur_irzm_200876082 Sad cheers, Alexis PS: Should I delete the whole workunit folder or should I keep it for a while?
3) Questions and Answers : Windows : Model exits with zero status right before trickles (Message 21363) Posted 16 Mar 2006 by old_user12243 Post: I suspect you may find that these trickles aren\'t the scheduled trickles, but the \'I\'ve just restarted\' trickle. You\'ll notice this also happens when you boot. I get the \'zero status\' message under the following circumstances: * Run VMWare * Run Google video Some people get them as a result of the Windows time synchronisation message (every 3 hours or so). If you can pin down what is causing them on your machine it\'d be very interesting. Well that seems to be it or at least close. I realized that the zero status message happens either in 3-hour or 4-hour intervals. Funnily enough the last one didn\'t coincide with the last Windows time sync. However, I manually requested a time sync in Windows, and lo and behold, a minute or 2 later the zero status message pops up. I don\'t use VMWare, and I\'ll pay attention next time I view a google video. I really hope this is benign though! Is the dev team aware of this?

In all observed cases this happens anywhere from 3-30 seconds before each trickle. I\'m wondering if this is related to preparing the trickle? The model seems to resume normally, but I don\'t like this behavior, especially in a 1000+ hour simulation. I\'m running boinc 5.2.13 and sulphur cycle 4.22. My computer is NOT overclocked, temps are normal and here are the specs: Athlon XP 2800+, 1GB DDR400 ram, >40GB free space. Running WinXP. Voltages are also in normal ranges. Anyone else having this problem?
