It should be able to backup them, by user request, optionally taking advantage of the scheduler of the OS. It should also do a backup, whenever an error occurs while computing a WU and restore it, instead of downloading a new unit. Finally, to economize disk space with this operation, Boinc should use its built-in zip functionality to compress the backup files. Thank you for your attention!
