Thanks for the followup and the concise instructions.

I reviewed the stderr for each task and the results are below.

Task 15794676: Missing libstdc++.so.6 library; libstdc++5:i386 (1:3.3.6-25ubuntu4) and libstdc++6:i386 (4.7.3-1ubuntu1) installed July 26.
Task 15920149: No stderr; CPDN assumes task still in progress.
Task 15927272: Couldn't get input files. Most likely due to download/certificate verification errors as reported earlier.
Task 15928942: No stderr; CPDN assumes task still in progress.
Task 15933156: Couldn't get input files. Most likely due to download/certificate verification errors as reported earlier. Task aborted by user.

The certificate verify and checksum/signature errors reported in msg 46820 (above) are the current issues to be resolved that should allow me to process workunits successfully.

You indicated my 3570k is crashing everything and I should look in stderr.

1) What application is 'crashing'? On the CPDN end or on my end?
2) Where is the 'stderr' for cpdn?

Now that CPDN is on-line and providing workunits, I'm receiving "Unable to verify <file> using certificates" and "checksum or signature" errors for workunit files during the download process. The CPDN task aborts with "Download failed". The relevant log entries are below.

Is this an issue on CPDN's end or do I need to reload/reinstate certificate keys locally?

Whatever the problem was, it appears to be corrected. This morning, All pending completed files uploaded automatically without error when I started my computer.

No changes were made to my computer to accomplish this so I must assume the problem was elsewhere. If anyone can explain what caused this problem occurs, I would be most interested.

I\'m receiving the following error messages:

12/4/2005 11:43:54 AM||Couldn\'t connect to hostname [cpdn-upload1.comlab.ox.ac.uk]
12/4/2005 11:43:55 AM|climateprediction.net|Temporarily failed upload of 3isv_000185987_0_3.zip: system I/O

Server stats show all servers operational yet I cannot upload despite numerous attempts. Last week, I upgraded from BOINC v4.4.5 to BOINC v5.2.7 and today, upgraded to BOINC v5.2.13 without success.

ALL CPDN files are complete, waiting in the TRANSFER tab in a \"deferred\" state. The CPDN Project (in the WORK tab) is in an \"uploading\" state. The last successful \"trickle\" occurred 04-Dec-2005 at 14:21:11. At that time, I was running BOINC v5.2.7.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?
