Attaching a new computer (actually a reinstall of Windows - is this the problem - same computer name?), I get "AddProject: Error -224". Server status reports everything running..... |

In reply to Mr. P Hucker's message of 9 Apr 2025: Attaching a new computer (actually a reinstall of Windows - is this the problem - same computer name?), I get "AddProject: Error -224".Just tried in a new VM to run the windows client and had no problems. client version 8.0.4 Windows version is Tiny10 a cut down version to avoid VMs taking up too much space. Using the same computer name should not cause problems as the BOINC server code has the option to merge computers with the same name. Can you confirm other projects can be added? As you can communicate with the project I don't expect this to make a difference but try manually putting in https://main.cpdn.org as the address to sign up the computer. |
