I see there\'s an upgraded version available for the BOINC CC on the SETI@home server: http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/download.php

I\'m currently 326 hours into a CPDN workunit. If I upgrade from 4.05 to 4.09, is BOINC going to do a \"reset project\" for cp.net? Or should I just wait until I finish processing the climateprediction.net WU?

You can upgrade now and are recommended to do so. A reset is only necessary between major versions - eg 3.x to 4.x.

It would be sensible to do a backup of your BOINC folder first, and you shoud stop the present project by suspending before exiting BOINC. Your existing WU should resume on restart.

I thought something bad happened every time I upgraded. As it turns out, BOINC only ran the benchmarks.

Yes, everything went OK.

Thanks.
