Message 62412 - Posted: 9 May 2020, 12:38:08 UTC

I just signed up to this site on 5/8/2020 and checked the project status page to see if work was available. "Tasks ready to send" are currently 1606. My account doesn't appear to be getting any of them, however. Is there something in the setup that I'm missing? I've been running BOINC for years on another project, but recently downloaded a version that appears to be skinned for a singular project. Could that be the holdup?

Thanks. Enjoy the day.

Firstly are your computers running BOINC under Windows or Linux. There has been no Windows work for a couple of months or more bar a small 15 work unit batch recently. As you computers are hidden, we can't look and check out some of the common problems.

Assuming you are using Linux, check that your computers have the 32bit libs installed. There are instructions for various distributions under the Linux section of the forums. Without these even if you get any work all the tasks will crash.

Edit: When requesting help in these forums it is always worth posting your Operating system and the version number of BOINC you are using. &.17.6 being the most recent.

I clicked on cross project and I did not receive the data:
https://www.cpdn.org/cert_all.php
I get this:
Notice: Undefined property: BoincUser::$projects in /home/boinc/cpdnboinc/html/user/cert_all.php on line 78

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/boinc/cpdnboinc/html/user/cert_all.php on line 78

also since I updated my computer(maybe) it seems that my data has split off from my retired projects. I now have 2 separate detailed stats? I thought all of this should be in one
https://www.boincstats.com/stats/-1/user/detail/4877
https://www.boincstats.com/stats/-1/user/detail/58271033255

I have reported this issue last year and still the same. I tried different editors(message boards)

The external stats sites use a person's email address to identify them.
There should be something on the BOINCstats site abut this.

I've sent an email about the Certificate problem, but I think that the staff are on ARL at present.

Reply from project:
This is most likely a result of the GDPR work, and has been commented out for now.

For CPDN work to show up on external stats sites you need to have ticked the option Do you consent to exporting your data to BOINC statistics aggregation Web sites? on the cpdnboinc preferences from your account page.

I also did not receive any new work although there are about 5k of workunits to send.
In log it says: "no work sent" delayed 3600 seconds.
I tried to get work last few days but nothing came in.

I tried with detach and reattaching, set back but none helped.

Those tasks are all for Linux only. The only type of task recently for Windows has been WAH2.

Okay. I did not see that anywhere. That will be the reason why I don't get any.

The information is in 2 parts - server_status, which has a list of Tasks by application,
and Applications, which lists the OS that's used for each app.
