I seem to recall that there is a way to specify what type of WUs are allowed to run on a user's machines, but I can find that. I thought that it was in the project preferences, but I don't see it now. I have not gotten any WUs for some time even though the server status page shows that some are available. Am I missing something?

The BOINC server code was upgraded last month, and as part of that it was decided to not include the option of choosing model types.
So now computers get whatever is available for the OS they use.

There hasn't been much Windows work since June, but there were 7160 Windows tasks a few hours ago.
As can be expected, these all went faster than greased lightning.

The Server status page seems to freeze up now and then, and be out of date.
It's possible that there are some now and then from tasks that have crashed on other computers, or been aborted, but it's the luck of the draw whose computer is asking for work at the correct moment to get them.

I get the impression that the server status page only updates between four and six times a day but it doesn't seem to be at fixed intervals. I don't know on what basis it happens.
